Abstract:Človek je družbeno bitje in naravna je naša težnja do sodelovanja z drugimi ljudmi. Podjetja so zaradi naraščajoče konkurenčnosti tržnega okolja in hitrega tehnološkega napredka, prisiljena optimizirati delovne procese in »z vedno manj ustvarjati vedno več«. Zaradi kompleksnih delovnih nalog, ki presegajo zmožnosti posameznika in zahtevajo timski pristop dela, delovne funkcije postajajo medsebojno odvisne in bolj povezane. V prvem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili teoretične osnove timskega dela.

Title:THE IMPACT OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS ON TEAMWORK
Abstract:Human is a social being and natural is our tendency to other people. In different ways we have integrated into society and the community in which we live. We distinguish, however, between each other through sociability or openness to other people. Interpersonal relations represent the direct relations to the various areas of the social life of each individual or group. Good interpersonal relations and cooperation affects not only individuals, but also in the team or the entire group of employees. Teamwork is becoming more and more common form of the organization of work in enterprises and other organisations, regardless of their size or area of work. With rapid technological progress and the increasing competitiveness of the market environment, enterprises are forced to optimize the work processes and "with less to create more and more". The working features are becoming more connected and interdependent, the complexity of work tasks exceeds the capabilities of the individual and requires a team approach. In the first part of the diploma thesis, we have outlined the theoretical basis of teamwork. We also described personality and their impact on interpersonal relations. In the research work, we presented the company Mercator d. d., where with the help of the questionnaire we tried to determine, what is team work and mutual relations in the organisation, and how these affect the operation and performance of the team. According to the collected data, at the end of the diploma we presented the findings and suggestions for the improvement of mutual relations and teamwork.
