Abstract:
V diplomskem delu je predstavljena postavitev strojne in programske opreme za testiranje generiaranja ter sortiranja podatkov treh različnih velikosti. Za strojno opremo smo uporabili strežniški računalnik HP ProLiant DL360 G6. Za glavno programsko opremo pa smo uporabili Windows Server 2012 R2 ter Hadoop verzijo 2.6.4. Na podlagi testiranja smo prišli do rezultatov in sklepa, da se s povečevanjem količine podatkov za sortiranje na enem serverskem računalniku povečuje tudi čas sortiranja podatkov glede na manjše količine podatkov, če bi jih sortirali v enaki količini zapovrstjo.

INTRODUCTION AND USAGE OF THE HADOOP SYSTEM IN WINDOWS SERVER 2012 R2
Abstract:
In this thesis, we present and test the combination of hardware and software for generating and sorting data in three different sizes. For hardware we used the computer server HP ProLiant DL360 G6 and for the main software Windows Server 2012 R2 and Hadoop version 2.6.4. Based on tests we came up with the results and the conclusion that by increasing the amount of data to sort on one server computer, the time of sorting data increases in relation to smaller amounts of data, if they were sorted in the same amount of time in a row.
