Abstract:	Magistrsko delo z naslovom Navezanost na stare starše pri osnovnošolskih otrocih je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Magistrsko delo se osredotoča na dva pojma, in sicer navezanost ter stari starši. Osredotočili smo se na različne avtorje in preučili njihove opredelitve navezanosti ter opisali značilnosti različnih vzorcev navezanosti, med katere spadajo varna navezanost, izogibajoča navezanost, ambivalentna navezanost in neorientirana navezanost. Opisali bomo tudi, kako poteka razvoj navezanosti ter kateri dejavniki vplivajo nanjo in na kakšen način. Zanimalo nas je tudi, na kakšen način in s katerimi pripomočki lahko kakovost otrokove navezanosti merimo. V drugi polovici teoretičnega dela se bomo osredotočili tudi na stare starše, opredelili pojem in podrobneje spoznali njihove značilnosti. Spoznali bomo različne tipe starih staršev, ki na eni strani govorijo o formalnem, zabavnem, nadomestnem in oddaljenem odnosu med starimi starši in vnuki, na drugi strani pa o posesivnih, prezahtevnih in servilnih starih starših. Opisali bomo tudi vlogo starih staršev, v kateri bomo opisali podobnosti in razlike med vlogami v preteklosti in sodobnosti. Proti koncu teoretičnega dela bomo spoznali značilnosti navezanosti osnovnošolskih otrok na njihove starše, kar je glede na problem empiričnega dela naloge najpomembnejše poglavje. V empiričnem delu smo z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki je bil namenjen starim staršem, prišli do rezultatov. Vprašalnik je rešilo 199 starih staršev, katerih vnuki obiskujejo osnovno šolo od 1. do 5. razreda. V nalogi smo prikazali razlike pri navezanosti vnukov na stare starše glede na spol vnuka, razred, ki ga obiskujejo, ali so stari starši po mamini ali po očetovi strani, starost starih staršev, status zaposlitve starih staršev ter oddaljenost bivanja starih staršev. Zanimalo nas je, ali obstajajo razlike med posameznimi vzorci navezanosti in prej naštetimi demografskimi značilnostmi anketirancev. Pridobljeni podatki, ki so bili zbrani z anketnim vprašalnikom, so bili vneseni v program SPSS in obdelani z različnimi statističnimi metodami. Ugotovili smo, da je najpogostejši vzorec navezanosti vnukov na stare starše varna navezanost, saj je bila povprečna ocena trditev, ki spadajo v ta vzorec, višja od ostalih treh vzorcev. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da pri večini raziskovanih podatkov obstajajo razlike pri navezanosti vnukov na stare starše, in sicer glede na spol vnukov, glede na razred, ki ga vnuki obiskujejo, glede na starost starih staršev, glede na zaposlenost in oddaljenost bivanja starih staršev. Nismo pa odkrili pomembnih razlik v navezanosti vnukov na stare starše glede na to, ali so stari starši po materini ali očetovi strani.

Title:	Attachment of primary school children to their grandparents
Abstract:	Master's thesis entitled “Attachment of Primary School Children to Their Grandparents” is composed of the theoretical and empirical part. The thesis deals with two concepts. The first one is the attachment and the second is the concept of grandparents. In the research, the focus was on different authors and examination of their attachment definitions and characteristics description of the various patterns of attachment, including the secure attachment, avoidant attachment, ambivalent attachment and disoriented attachment. Furthermore, the development of the attachment and the affected factors are described. The interest was also in what way and which devices can measure the quality of child’s attachment. In the second half of the theoretical part the focus was on the grandparents, definition of the concept of grandparents and in detail presentation of their characteristics. Different types of grandparents are presented as well. Ones that include formal, fun, alternative and distant relationship between grandparents and grandchildren, while on the contrary too possessive, too demanding and servile grandparents. The role of grandparents based on the similarities and differences of the past and the present day is described. Towards the end of the theoretical part, the focus was on the characteristics of the attachment of primary school children to their grandparents. As such, this being the main problem of the empirical part of the thesis, it is considered the most important section. In the empirical part, the results were obtained with a questionnaire designed for grandparents. The questionnaire was taken by 199 grandparents whose grandchildren attend elementary school from 1st to 5th grade. In the research, the differences in the attachment of grandchildren to grandparents according to the gender of the grandchildren, the class they are attending, whether the grandparents are after their maternal or paternal side, the age of the grandparents, their employment status and the distance of their grandparents’ home are shown. The differences between individual patterns of attachment and previously listed general characteristics of the respondents were the main object. Extracted data, which was collected through a questionnaire, was entered into SPSS program and processed with different statistical methods. The results obtained show that the most common pattern of attachment of grandchildren to grandparents is the secure attachment, as the average estimate of claims which fall into this pattern are higher than the other three samples. In the majority of the surveyed data, there are differences in the attachment of grandchildren to grandparents regarding the gender of grandchildren, the class they attend, the age of the grandparents, their employment and distance of their grandparent’s home. The important differences in the attachment of grandchildren to grandparents, regarding whether the grandparents are after their maternal or paternal side, were not discovered.
