Title:	ANALIZA POSLOVANJA PROSTOVOLJNEGA GASILSKEGA DRUŠTVA SPODNJI BRNIK-VOPOVLJE

Abstract:	Prostovoljno gasilsko društvo ima kot nepridobitna organizacija zasidrane korenine globoko v slovenski zgodovini in ljudeh. Financiranje prostovoljnih gasilskih društev v Republiki Sloveniji je določeno z zakoni, ki pokrivajo področje gasilstva in organiziranja ter delovanja društev na območju Republike Slovenije. Vsako prostovoljno gasilsko društvo se sooča z iskanjem zanesljivih finančnih virov, ne samo tistih, ki so predvideni po zakonodaji. S stalnimi in predvidljivimi finančnimi viri lahko zagotovijo nemoten razvoj društva. Mandatno obdobje organizacijskih in operativnih funkcij traja pet let, kar je primerna doba za analizo delovanja društva z vidika napredka in razvoja ter finančnega poslovanja. Na osnovi pridobljenih podatkov, izpiskov in zapisov je na primeru Prostovoljnega gasilskega društva Spodnji Brnik–Vopovlje analizirano finančno poslovanje društva v letih od 2009 do 2014. Sledi preverjanje, ali lahko iz pridobljenih letnih poročil in bilanc stanja sklepamo, v kakšni finančni kondiciji je društvo, kakšen je bil razvoj in kako so se gibali stroški opremljanja društva ter ali je bilo društvo uspešno pri zagotavljanju svojega poslanstva. Prostovoljna gasilska društva so zaradi napredka v znanosti vse bolj sodobno opremljena, tako si je treba tudi zaradi načrtovanja nadaljnjega razvoja postaviti cilje za določeno obdobje. Na osnovi trenutnega stanja sta narejena ocena razvoja in načrt porabe finančnih sredstev za naslednjih pet let. To bo koristilo predvsem upravnemu odboru društva in operativni strukturi, ki bi na osnovi začrtanih ciljev lažje upravljala denarna sredstva in bolj temeljito načrtovala opremljanje in razvoj društva.

Title:	FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF VOLUNTARY FIREFIGHTING UNION SPODNJI BRNIK-VOPOVLJE IN THE YEARS 2009-2013
Abstract:	The roots of volunteer fire brigades as non-profit organizations go deep in the Slovene history and people. The funding of volunteer fire brigades in Slovenia is defined on the basis of laws which cover the areas of fire-fighting organizations and other of societies on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. Each volunteer fire-fighting society faces the search for reliable financial resources, additional to those provided by the law. With the assurance of constant and predictable financial resources the smooth development of a volunteer fire society is guaranteed. One mandate of the organizational and operational functions lasts for five years, which is also a suitable period of time for the analysis of the life of this society, both in terms of progress and development as well as in terms of financial management. Based on the data, statements and records obtained in the case of the volunteer fire society Spodnji Brnik–Vopovlje, the financial operations of the association between 2009 and 2014 analyzed. It was checked whether the data derived from annual reports and balance sheets show the financial condition the society, how the society has development and how the equipment expense moved, and whether the society was successful in delivering its mission. Volunteer fire societies are becoming more modern and better equipped because of the progress of technology, therefore it is necessary to plan a further development and set goals for a specified period. Based on the current situation, the development and the planned use of funds for the next five years are going to be assessed. This would mainly benefit the Governing Board and the operational structure of the society. On the basis of the goals projected it should be easier to manage the cash flow and more thoroughly plan and develop the progress of the volunteer fire-fighting society.
