Abstract:

Title:
REVITALIZATION RUINS CASTLE ŽOVNEK IN BRASLOVČE
Abstract:
The project work analyzes and evaluates the current state of the Žovnek castle ruins which have been in the process of restoration for the past two decades. On the basis of an in-depth analysis a suggestion for an overall revitalization of the castle’s remains was made, based on the efforts for a correct interpretation of the culturally-historical meaning and at the same time the effort to connect the castle’s remains to the modern life as efficiently as possible.
