Abstract:	V diplomski nalogi obravnavamo poklic detektiva na področju poslovnih goljufij. Da bi uspešno spoznali ta poklic smo najprej opredelili pojme, kot so detektiv, detektivska dejavnost in detektivska zbornica. Ugotovili smo, kdo lahko to dejavnost opravlja v Republiki Sloveniji. Spoznali smo tudi, kako pridemo do samega poklica. V nalogi opisujemo delo detektivov in metode, ki jih pri samem delu uporabljajo. Opredelimo tudi zgodovino detektivske dejavnosti in se osredotočamo na vprašanje, od kje segajo prvi začetki same dejavnosti. V nadaljevanju ugotavljamo, kakšna je pomembnost samega poklica v Sloveniji ter drugod po svetu ter kako je ta poklic zakonsko opredeljen. V diplomskem delu opredelimo tudi kar nekaj omejitev ter dolžnosti, ki jih imajo detektivi pri samem delu. Detektivska dejavnost se je razvila na več področjih dela, zato opredelimo tudi vrste detektivov in jih podrobneje opišemo. Opredelili smo razmerje med policijo in detektivi ter njihovo medsebojno sodelovanje. V diplomski nalogi je prav tako velik poudarek na goljufijah, ki so zaradi gospodarske krize po našem mnenju v svetu še dosti bolj prisotne, kot bi sicer bile. Ukvarjamo se z definicijami tega pojma ter jih predstavimo po vrstah; osredotočimo se predvsem na poslovne. Da bi bolje opredelili delo detektivov in ga tudi lažje razumeli ter, seveda, da lahko potrdimo naše ugotovitve, smo pripravili intervju in ga posredovali trem aktivnim detektivom.

Title:	Detective's work in investigating business fraud
Abstract:	In the diploma thesis, we deal with the profession of a detective in the field of business frauds. In order to become acquainted with this profession, we first became acquainted with the conceptions, such as detective, detective activity and detective chamber, in detail. We ascertained who is entitled to perform this activity in the Republic of Slovenia. We also learned how to become a detective. In the thesis, we describe the work of detectives and the methods, which they use within their work. We also become acquainted with the history of the detective activity and focus on the question where the first beginnings of the activity derive from. Furthermore, we ascertain what the importance of the profession in Slovenia and in other parts of the world is, and how the profession is defined according to law. In the diploma thesis, we also learn several limitations and duties of the detectives when they work. Detective activity was developed in several fields of work. Therefore, we become acquainted also with the types of detectives and describe them more in detail. We became acquainted with the relationship between the police and detectives as well as their mutual cooperation. In the diploma thesis, there is also a great emphasis on frauds, which are, by our opinion, much more present in the world due to the economic crisis, as they would be in the absence of the economic crisis. We deal with the definition of this conception, and describe them by the type more in detail. In order to become more acquainted with the work of detectives and in order to understand it more easily, and, of course, in order to confirm our ascertainments, we prepared an interview and sent it to three active detectives.
