Najpogosteje navajane vrednote so zdravje, ljubezen, družina, sreča in poštenost.

Title:The influence of the parents' world view on the development of children's values
Abstract:The purpose of the diploma thesis is to determine whether the worldview affects the development of children's values. In particular we wondered what values are important to parents and how they pass these values to their pre-school children. We found ourselves in the time of capitalism, that is, in a word, highly materialistic. For this reason parents are often faced with a crucial question: "What is right and what is wrong?" We asked ourselves, whether the answer to this question is conditioned by the worldview. In the theoretical part we immersed in theory; what values should people with different worldviews have. What does faith command them and how they should develop values in children in connection to faith. We were also thinking a lot about values themselves and how values develop in preschool children. We also touched upon ways of value transmission. The objective of the empirical research was to examine what values are important to children's parents and whether the importance of values is conditional on gender, age, education, region of living and worldview. And whether there is a difference in transmission of values in relation to the above-mentioned variables. The thesis is based on the descriptive and causal non-experimental method of pedagogical research, we have gathered data through a questionnaire with mainly closed questions. The study involved 145 parents of the Podravje and Pomurje regions. The data analysis has shown that the worldview of parents of preschool children affects the transmission of values to children because parents tend to the same values. These values are most frequent: health, love, family, happiness and honesty. A notable difference was only of those surveyed parents who are of the Islamic faith, where the research has shown that their most important values are religiousness, good behavior and morality. Even atheistic values are somewhat similar to theistic ones. Only the users of those are even more spiritual and connected to nature and strive for their children's concern for health.
