Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava plesne dejavnosti otrok v predšolskem obdobju.

Title:The influence of stimulation on children's expression through dance in the first and second age group
Abstract:The diploma paper discusses dance activities of preschool children. The theoretical part includes a definition of dance, creativity in dance, dance stimulation, dance education (methods, techniques, principles and child's need for dance), dance as a form of art with its goals in the curriculum, the role of adults and examples of dance activities in the first and second preschool group (planning methods, micro and macro planning). Ožur aim was to study the influence of stimiulation on children's dance expression in the first and second preschool age groups. We studied this for one month through thematic unit called »The dancing spring«. We wanted to see if the stimilation effect varied in different age groups. The empirical part involves thematic unit and lesson plans for six dance actitivies that we performed. The results of empirical part are written as an evaluation of a direct pedagogic work. We discovered that children have a great interest in dance activities only if they are planned and presented in an interesting and unique way. In case that the subject which stimulates dancing is chosen carefully, children are creative, relaxed and have inner motivation. Subject also has to be relevant for both genders, if we want children to become interested in dance activity.
Keywords:dance, creativity in dancing, dance education, dance stimulations, preschool planning.
