Abstract:
Tvorbeno-pretvorbena obravnava z nedoločnikom vezljivih glagolov potrjuje misel sodobne slovenske slovnice, da je osebek nedoločnika vedno neizražen. Podanih je nekaj utemeljitev, s katerimi pretvorbenik zagovarja stavčnost nedoločniškega sestavnika; težišče je na preverjanju utreznosti pravila o nadzoru pri interpretaciji neizraženega osebka nedoločniškega stavka ter utemeljevanju predloga, da slovenski jezik razen nadzorovalnih glagolov z osebkovim oziroma predmetnim nadzorom pozna tudi skupino dvigovalnih glagolov.

Title:
Slovene verbs governing infinitival complements: a transformational-generative approach
Abstract:
The transformational generative approach to verbs with infinitival complementation confirms the claim of the contemporary Slovene grammar that the subject of the infinitive is always phonetically empty. Its understood subject is interpreted by the rule of control as coreferential either with the subject or the object of the matrix sentence. In addition to verbs of control Slovene also has a group of raising verbs. Several arguments are given in support of the sentencehood of the infinitival constituent.
