Abstract:V razvojnih podjetjih telekomunikacijske opreme igra pomembno vlogo testiranje funkcionalnosti dopolnilnih storitev. Z namenom avtomatizacije testiranja to delo vsebuje raziskavo področja in možnosti implementacije oz. razvoja takšnega orodja. Sledi teoretični opis vrst telefonije, protokolov in delovanja sistemov. Osrednji del naloge vsebuje opis namena avtomatizacije in funkcionalnosti orodja. V ločenih poglavjih je opisana zasnova implementacije, izbira tehnologij in nekatere omejitve za področja analogne telefonije in telefonije SIP. Poglavje s področja telefonije SIP podrobneje opisuje posamezne module orodja.

Title:Automatisation of testing supplementary services in telephony
Abstract:Testing functionalities of supplementary services plays an important part in development companies of telecommunications equipment. For the intention of automatisation of testing this work contains research of this field and options of implementation or development of such a tool. It describes modular design which means optimization of development and enables transparent use in several areas. Optimal technologies for development of modules as a function of the system under test are determined on the basis of research. Development of tool derives from standards and regulations on the basis of which the system is designed. This enables the usage of tool for testing different standardized systems. First part of this document contains description of telecommunications equipment testing, placement of testing methods for supplementary services and current needs for optimization of those procedures. The second part contains theoretical descriptions of types of: telephony, protocols and functioning of systems. The central part of the document contains description of the purpose of automatisation and functionality of the tool. There are separate chapters for: implementation design, choice of technologies and some restrictions for areas of analog and SIP telephony. Chapter with SIP telephony in detail describes each tool module. This document concludes with descriptions of added value, possibility of further development and extension of tools in other areas of telephony.
