Title:Pomoč in nasveti patronažne medicinske sestre pri dojenju

Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Patronažna medicinska sestra ima pomembno vlogo pri spodbujanju in vzdrževanju dojenja v domačem okolju. Zaradi samostojnosti pri svojem delu mora imeti veliko strokovnega in praktičnega znanja. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti pomoč in nasvete patronažne medicinske sestre pri dojenju ter na podlagi študije primera predstaviti doječo otročnico. Metodologija raziskovanja: V diplomskem delu sem uporabila deskriptivno metodo dela. Izvedena je bila študija primera doječe otročnice s pomočjo intervjuja na podlagi delno strukturiranega vprašalnika. V vzorec je bila vključena ena oseba. Podatke smo analizirali in predstavili po konceptualnem modelu Virginije Henderson. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da je otročnica največ potrebnih in želenih informacij dobila s strani patronažne medicinske sestre, ki ji je bila ves čas v oporo. Otročnica je mnenja, da je strokovna pomoč patronažne medicinske sestre pri dojenju zelo pomembna in zaželena. Diskusija in zaključek: Tako kot je za uspešno dojenje pomemben čim hitrejši kožni stik matere in novorojenčka, je za mnoge mamice pomemben prvi in čim hitrejši obisk patronažne medicinske sestre. Izrednega pomena za patronažno medicinsko sestro je stalno izpopolnjevanje znanja o podpori dojenja, saj so na terenu same. Pravilen nasvet, pravilna odločitev in pravilno ukrepanje v danem trenutku pa so bistvenega pomena za novorojenčka ter otročnico.

Title:Breastfeeding support and advice from community nurse
Abstract:Theoretical basis: Community nurse play an important role in encouragement and maintenance of breastfeeding in home environment. They must have a lot of theoretical and practical knowledge because of their work autonomy. The goal of this study is to present the help and counsel they give to nursing mothers. Methodology: This study is based on descriptive method. The neonatal mother was given a special structured questionnaire. One person was included in the study. Conceptual framework of Virginia Henderson data was used to analyze and present the data. Results: Data showed, that the most needed and helpful information for the neonatal mother was given by the home care nurse. The nursing mother’s opinion was, that the help of the home care nurse is very important and desirable. Discussion and conclusion: The study showed, that besides the skin contact between the mother and the baby, the early visit of the home care nurse plays and important factor in the successful breastfeeding for mothers. The continuous education of the community nurse is mandatory. Only then they can give the right advice and guidance, that are of crucial importance for the mother and for the baby.
