Podatke, ki smo jih pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, smo obdelali s programom SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) in jih potem tabelarično prikazali.

Title:Advantages and traps of giving praise for child development
Abstract:The title of the present diploma thesis is "The Advantages and Pitfalls of Praise for Child's Development". The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, the emphasis lies on the praise of children, their development, methods of education themselves, and, above all, a permissive educational method is emphasized which includes praise. The role of the permissive educational method itself, as well as the role of an adult in the development of a child, is also defined. This is followed by praise, namely, the importance of praise for a pre-school child, how and when we praise, how the praise actually works, the positive side of praise, the mistakes of it, and what consequences the latter has on child's feelings. The last two chapters are focused on both positive and negative consequences of praise for the development of a child. Through the theoretical part, we find out what praise actually means, what its use brings, when it is best to praise a child, and what kind of influence the latter has on the child's development. It plays an important role in the development of a child, so it is very important in what way we present it. The empirical part presents the results in connection with the praise in the kindergarten. We used a descriptive and causal-non-experimental method of pedagogical research. The pattern was non-coincidental taken from an actual situation. It is represented by 100 educators and assistants in the region of Posavje. We were interested in the attitude of educators and assistants to the praise of children, in which situations they most often praise a child, and what is the most common way of praise. The data we obtained with the help of a questionnaire were processed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) programme, and were tabulated.
Keywords:a negative impact of praise, child, praise, a positive impact of praise, development of a child, an impact of praise
