Abstract:Namen diplomskega dela je, skozi geopolitiko analizirati energetski trg na primeru Ruske federacije.

Title:Organization of the energy supply market in europe
Abstract:The purpose of the Bachelor's degree is to analyze the energy market through the geopolitics on the example of the Russian Federation. The topic is relevant because of the multiplicity of energy trading, which directly affects the muddle economy. In the dipomatic work, we are wondering whether Russia can provide sufficient quantities of energy to the European Union and whether it has sufficient conditions to cover energy needs and security. Due to the large dependence of the Russian economy on gas trade, the Russian Federation cannot afford to exploit its geopolitical influence to promote political and economic power, but it must ensure the energy security of its key trading partners. In the degree thesis we set the following hypotheses, which we supported with the assertions. H1: Russia can provide sufficient quantities of energy to Europe to cover energy needs and security in the future. Hypothesis 1 has been confirmed, since the forecasts related to the political developments and imports of natural gas in the EU have forced Europe to think about new routes for the supply of natural gas. H2: New energy guidelines in the EU will provide the organization with stable conditions for covering energy needs and there by ensure the EU's energy security. The hypothesis 2 was partly confirmed because the integration of the double side of the energy corridor with gas in conjunction with the EU supports the possibility of connecting pipelines to the European Union due to the favorable geographical position, points of contact, and the connection and the establishment of a good communication path between the different regions. H3: Imports of natural gas from Russia and hence the dependence of EU countries on foreign sources will increase in the future. We confirmed the hypothesis 3 as the announcement that gas leakage will not be felt in Europe, which storages gas in underground storages, but will be further aggravated due to gas depletion in Ukraine's underground warehouses.
