Abstract:	O požaru govorimo, ko gre za eksotermno reakcijo med gorljivo snovjo in kisikom. Pri notranjih požarih to ustvarja določene pogoje, ki jih pri zunanjih požarih ne poznamo. Gre za nevarnosti, do katerih prihaja zaradi zaprtosti prostora (npr. nabiranje dima in drugih plinov, povratni ogenj, požarni preskok, vžig plinov). Za takšne tipe intervencij gasilci potrebujejo specifično opremo. Poleg požarne obleke in čelade, ki se uporabljata na vseh tipih intervencij, je pomembna uporaba izolirnega dihalnega aparata, termo-kamere in nekaterih drugih orodij, kot so sekira, huligan, vrvi ipd., prav tako se uporablja univerzalni ročnik z regulacijskimi prstani, saj nam ta omogoča optimalno izrabo gasilnega sredstva (vode) in ustvarja vodno meglo, s katero dušimo požar. Za gašenje notranjih požarov se lahko uporablja tudi sistem Cobra, čigar prednost je, da gasilcu ni treba vstopati v prostor, kjer gori. Prav tako je pomembno tudi dobro vodenje gasilske intervencije. To se začne že ob pozivu enote na požar. Več informacij, kot jih pridobi vodja, bolje lahko ukrepa in vodi enoto. Skupine, ki izvajajo notranji napad ali preiskujejo, morajo poznati taktiko in postopke gašenja premikanja v prostoru ter preiskovanja, saj lahko le s pravilnimi postopki preprečijo nadaljnjo povzročanje škode, prav tako se s pravilnimi postopki izognemo nevarnostim. Po pogašenem požaru delo še ni dokončno opravljeno, saj se po potrebi izvaja gasilska straža, pomoč preživelim in lastnikom, ne nazadnje je potrebno ugotoviti tudi stanje lastne gasilske enote in opreme.

Title:	Firefighting tactics and procedures - compartment firefighting techniques
Abstract:	We can talk about fire when it comes to exothermic reaction between the combustible material and oxygen. The internal fire creates special condition which is not common on outdoor fire. The internal fire poses certain risks that are connected to closed space (e.c. the accumulation of smoke and other gases, flashover, backdraft, gas ignition). For these types of interventions, firefighters need specific equipment. In addition to the fire suits and helmets (which applies to all types of firefighter interventions ) is important to use self-contained breathing apparatus, thermal cameras and some other tools (safety axe, hooligan, rope, etc.) and usage of universal nozzle with control rings, as this allow firefighters to optimize the use of the extinguishing agent (water) and creates a water mist, which is used to damp down a fire. For extinguishing interior fires firefighters have option to use the Cobra system, the advantage of the system is that the firefighter does not have to enter the area of fire outbreak. Good leadership is also important. Its starts when unit is called on fire. More information that is obtained by the chief, better measurements are taken by the unit and management of it. Group that carries out the compartment firefighting should be aware of the tactics and methods of extinguishing fires, movement in the area and investigating the area, because only with the correct procedures can we avoid causing further damage and avoid hazards that might occur. After the fire is put down our work is not done. If necessary, we would set up fire watch, assist survivors and the owner and determine the state of our own firefighters and equipment.
