Title:Primerjava medijskih vsebin namenjenih etničnim skupinam na primeru madžarske manjšine v Sloveniji in slovenske narodne skupnosti v Avstriji

Abstract:V diplomskem delu so predstavljeni mediji madžarske narodne manjšine v Sloveniji in slovenske narodne skupnosti v Avstriji. Opisan je pomen medijev za manjšine in njihove pravice do informiranja. Posvetili smo se obravnavanju manjšinskih tem v večinskih medijih – naravi, kontekstu in količini poročanja. Nekaj pozornosti je namenjene tudi pomembnosti, namembnosti ter vsebini manjšinskih medijev. Cilj diplomskega dela je bil preveriti vsebino manjšinskih medijev in ugotoviti organiziranost medijskih organizacij, namenjenih manjšinam. Metode, ki smo jih pri tem uporabljali, so kvalitativna in kvantitativna analiza televizijske oddaje Dober dan, Koroška – Dober dan, Štajerska ter oddaje Mostovi-Hidak in naknadna primerjava. Z namenom čim boljše raziskave oz. analize so bili opravljeni tudi intervjuji z odgovornimi osebami obravnavanih televizijskih oddaj.

Title:Comparison of media content for ethnic groups in the case of Hungarian minority in Slovenia and Slovene-speaking population group in Austria
Abstract:In the thesis, the media of Hungarian national minority in Slovenia and Slovene-speaking population group in Austria are presented. Firstly, the importance of the media for national minorities and their right to information is described. After that the paper focuses on dealing with minority issues in the majority media. Furthermore, the attention will be payed to the importance, purpose and content of minority media. The aim of the thesis is to examine the content of minority media and to determine the organization of media organizations for minorities. The methods we will use in this regard are the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the TV shows Dober dan, Koroška – Dober dan, Štajerska and Mostovi-Hidak, and the subsequent comparison. In order to make the best possible research and analyses, several interviews with persons responsible for the broadcasts in question were conducted as well.
