Abstract:V magistrskem delu Diferenciacija jezika Erjavčeve pripovedi Avguštin Ocepek od prve izdaje (1860) do zadnjega ponatisa (2013) je na jezikovni ravni obravnavana Erjavčeva pripoved Avguštin Ocepek.

Title:Differentiation on the language in erjavec`s narration avguštin ocepek since its first publication (1860) till its last reprint (2013)
Abstract:This master's thesis, entitled Differentiation of the language in Erjavec's narration Avguštin Ocepek since its first publication (1860) till its last reprint (2013), focuses on the language in the story Avguštin Ocepek, which was written by Fran Erjavec. The main purpose was to determine how language changed from one edition to another and adapted to the linguistic norms of the time by means of linguistic analysis. The theoretical part presents the life and work of Fran Erjavec and the development of standard Slovene in the 19th century, with special attention devoted to the second half of the century and the more important linguists who co-created Slovene in that period. As for the empirical part, it analyses individual editions of the story at various levels of language (orthography, phonetics, morphology, lexicology and syntax). The findings suggest that the first and the second edition of the text from the 19th century differed from the linguistic norms of the time. All the remaining reprints followed the then current norms, although they contained certain lexical archaisms, which were observed in the section about the modern secondary school reader and which provided additional explanations to bring the text closer to the target audience.
