Abstract:	Pri preiskovanju umorov in odkrivanju storilcev je zelo pomembno delo policije ter preiskovalcev, ki skušajo ugotoviti, kaj se je zgodilo. S pomočjo morebitnih očividcev skušajo pridobiti čim več koristnih informacij, ki bi jim omogočale razvozlati kaznivo dejanje. Z zavarovanjem kraja dejanja preprečijo, da bi se ljudje tam zadrževali ter tako zavarujejo prostor, v katerem bodo iskali materialne dokaze, s pomočjo katerih bodo skušali razvozlati potek dejanja. S pridobljenimi materialnimi dokazi skušajo preiskovalci izslediti storilca in dokazati kaznivo dejanje. Pomembno je, da so pri tem materialni dokazi pravilno zavarovani ter hranjeni, saj le tako zagotovijo njihovo uporabo v poznejšem sodnem postopku. V primeru, da pride med ogledom kraja dejanja ter med postopkom zavarovanja najdenih sledi do morebitnih napak, nenatančnosti ter površnosti preiskovalcev, postanejo najdeni dokazi, ne glede na njihovo pomembnost v celotnem postopku, neveljavni ter jih je treba izločiti iz dokaznega gradiva. Prav zaradi takšnih napak obstajajo primeri, pri katerih so bili očitni storilci kaznivega dejanja oproščeni, saj so morali preiskovalci iz dokaznega gradiva izločiti ključne materialne dokaze. V diplomskem delu se natančneje osredotočimo na primer, ki se je zgodil v okolici Krškega leta 2014. V gostinskem objektu so našli truplo gostilničarja, domnevni storilec, ki naj bi zagrešil kaznivo dejanje umora, pa je bil oproščen. Pri tem so imeli velik pomen prav materialni dokazi, saj so bili ključnega pomena za razjasnitev poteka dogodkov, izsleditev storilca in obsodbo.

Title:	The analysis of the material evidence in murder investigation
Abstract:	The thesis relates to the issue of criminal act of murder and the process of searching and recovering all material evidences from the crime scene. This material evidences allows the main court to accused the killer. Here comes out the work of the police and the work of the investigators, who are trying to found out what happened to the victim. With the help of the potential eyewitnesses, they try to obtain as much useful information as possible to enable them to break the criminal offence. With the scene preservation, the investigators try to keep the people away from the scene. Only in this way, they can sure, that the material evidence won't be destroyed. With the material evidences they try to figure out what happened in this crime scene. With the obtained material evidence the investigators try to trace the killer. It’s very important that all material evidences are collected and preserved correctly. Only in this way, they can sure the chain of custody of all material evidences. If during the scene preservation and/or during the collection of material evidence any errors occur or if there are inaccuracies or superficiality in the work of investigators, some evidence becomes invalid and should be therefore removed from the exhibit. Because of such mistakes there are cases when the potential suspect of the crime must be acquitted, just because the investigators had to remove crucial data from the evidence material. In these work, we deal with that case, which happened in Krško in 2014. In the pantry of a bar was found the body, and the killer was never been offended of criminal act. The material evidences hat a lot to deal with that, because with the evidences the investigators can explain what happened and who is the killer.
