Abstract:	Povpraševanje po ekološko pridelanih živilih iz leta v leto raste. Tudi dejstvo, da je od prehranjevalnih navad odvisno naše zdravje in da kakovosti živil ne gre meriti le po zunanjih temveč predvsem po notranjih lastnostih, kot je na primer odsotnost škodljivih snovi, je med ljudmi zmeraj bolj razširjeno. Na policah trgovin niso ekološki pridelki nič več nekaj nenavadnega: ponudba je široka. Situacija pa je nekoliko drugačna v gostinskih lokalih, kjer je med številnimi le peščica ponudnikov s certificirano ekološko ponudbo. V diplomski nalogi smo med potrošniki v gostinskih lokalih s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov želeli izvedeti, kakšne so prehranjevalne navade, kaj vpliva na odločitve glede nakupa živil, kaj jim je pomembno pri izbiri lokalov, v katerih se prehranjujejo, ter kakšno je splošno znanje glede ekoloških živil in označevanja ekološke ponudbe. Kar 72 % izmed 50 anketirancev je mnenja, da so ekološka živila bolj zdrava. Menimo, da bi bilo smotrno, da bi se tudi ponudniki bolj izobraževali in ozaveščali o ekoloških živilih in njihovem pomenu ter jih v večji meri vključevali v svojo ponudbo.

Title:	Consumer opinions on organic food in restaurants
Abstract:	The demand for ecologically produced produce has been rising. The fact that our health depends on our eating habits and that the quality of produce cannot be measured merely by the surface properties, but by internal ones, such as the absence of harmful substances, has also become more widespread amongst the population. Ecological produce is no longer an unusual sight on store shelves, but broad in range. However, the situation in restaurants is somewhat different, where only a handful of them offer ecologically certified food. For this Bachelor's thesis consumers in restaurants were surveyed to find out their eating habits, what influences their choice when purchasing food, what they deem important when choosing a restaurant to eat in and their knowledge of organic foods and ecological food labeling. Of the 50 people surveyed, 72% considered organic food to be healthier. It seems that it would be prudent to have the providers of these foods become more educated and informed on organic foods, their importance and that they would more extensively add them to their supply more extensively.
