Abstract:	Diplomski projekt obravnava pojem industrijske revolucije, natančneje zadnje, četrte industrijske revolucije. Četrta industrijska revolucija obravnava tako napredek v tehnologiji kot napredek v programskih opremah. Pojem zajema vsa področja našega življenja, tako osebno kot poslovno. V sodobni zgodovini obstaja več industrijskih revolucij, ki so druga na drugo vplivale posredno in tudi neposredno, sem vsako obdobje posebej opredelila časovno, prostorsko ter tehnološko. Poudarek sem dala četrti industrijski revoluciji, saj je to obdobje, v katerem se trenutno nahajamo. Diplomski projekt zajema tudi programsko opremo kot so CRM in ERP sistemi, ki so v poslovnem svetu zmeraj bolj popularni za nadzor nad poslovanjem. V praktičnem delu diplomskega projekta sem opravila intervju s predstavnikom Zavarovalnice Sava, v katerem smo govorili o napredku tehnologij. Predstavili so nam, kako so v svoji zavarovalnici uvajali nove tehnologije v svoje poslovanje in kako lahko le-te vplivajo na samo poslovanje.

Title:	The fourth industrial revolution
Abstract:	Diploma project presents the concept of an industrial revolution, more specifically the last, fourth. The fourth industry revolution deals with both advancement in technology and progress of software. The term covers all areas of our lives, both personal and professional. In our modern history there are several industrial revolutions that influenced one another directly and indirectly, I will separately defining time, space and technology for all of them separately. I put a special emphasis on the fourth industrial revolution, since this is the period of time we are in right now. The diploma project also includes software such as CRM and ERP systems, which are increasingly popular in the business control. In the practical part of the diploma project, I conducted an interview with Sava Insurance Company, where we discussed the progress of technologies, how they introduced technologies to their business, and how the new technologies can influence the business itself.
