Abstract:Računalništvo v oblaku je v zadnjih nekaj letih spremenilo celotno IT-industrijo.

Title:Comparative analysis of cloud computing security
Abstract:Cloud computing has transformed the entire IT industry over the past few years. In cloud computing, it is not just about the services offered by many providers, but also about hardware and software in the data centers that enable these services. The aspect of cloud computing that has raised a lot of dust in past few years is safety, which cought the attention of the authors and resulted in a more explicit research into the field in this work. The largest cloud providers, Amazon Web Services, the Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, offer cloud services that are generally secure. All three companies invest huge amounts of money in order to provide the most secure services. Providers protect data physically and logically. In this thesis we compare providers of cloud services on the basis of several factors, such as compliance, data security, physical infrastructure security, support, identity management and network security. In our work we have confirmed all three hypotheses related to cloud computing and the security in this field. We've found out that cloud computing brings meny benefits, and that the data that is stored in the cloud is in our opinion safe. There is however still a lot of potential improvements in providing even greater security in this area.
