Abstract:Velik pomen za uspeh celotne organizacije imajo zaposleni v njej.

Title:Analysis of the reward system in the selected company
Abstract:Employees play a key role in determining the success of an organization as a whole. In order to be successful and efficient, they need to be well motivated. While there are different means of motivating employees, this thesis focuses primarily on motivation by means of rewarding. We studied employees' opinions on the reward system within their company. The theoretical and empirical parts also study the significance of monetary and non-monetary rewards to motivate the employees. We found that, in the studied company, monetary rewards are more successful; however, non-monetary rewards also play a role. Money can only motivate up to a certain point where it loses its motivating power. Hence, an effective rewarding system has to include both types of rewards while also being adjusted to the wishes and needs of the employees in the company. The impact of rewarding on the employees is immense and greatly affects the success of the organization as a whole. It is essential that the companies in the market are aware of that and that they are developing an effective rewarding system that would aid in keeping the old employees in the company while also inviting new ones to climb aboard.
