Abstract:Glede na namen pridelave spada konoplja (Cannabis sativa L. ssp. sativa) med oljnice in predivnice. Hitra rast rastline, trpežnost vlaken, visok delež maščob v semenu in prisotnost kanabinoidov na cvetu so ključne lastnosti, ki dajejo konoplji visoko prehransko vrednost. Ustrezno spravilo pridelka v Sloveniji ni tehnično dovršeno in splošno dostopno pridelovalcem.

Title:Economic feasibility assesment and labeling of chosen hemp (cannabis sativa l.ssp. sativa) seed products in slovenia
Abstract:By the purpose of use, hemp (Cannabis sativa L. ssp. Sativa) is classified under oil and fiber plants. The rapid growth of the plant, durability of fibers, high proportion of fat in the seed and presence of cannabinoids on the flower are key features that give cannabis high nutritional value. In Slovenia, technology for proper harvesting is still in deficit and generally unavailable for growers. Nevertheless, the practice showed successful production with hand cutting of the buds or machine harvest with grain combine. Both harvesting methods are economically justified. Price of hand harvesting (LC=5,24 €/kg) is almost twice as high as the price of machine harvesting (LC=2,53 €/kg). The production of food products (oil, flour, pulp and tea) which are obtained by pressing, grinding, sifting and peeling, is economically justified (KE > 1). The assessment of the investment in the purchase of the appropriate seed processing and harvesting equipment is reimbursed in the third year (NSV=587,03 €) of successful operations, with a constant annual cash flow. In the production and marketing of cannabis for dietary products, Slovenian legislation sets out provisions that limits production possibilities. Regulation (EU) No.1169/2011 refers to the labelling of dietary products, it is essential to provide mandatory food information to consumers. Despite all the provisions regarding the production, processing, marketing and labelling of products, Slovenia does not assure quality of production and processing for hemp seed and flower.
