Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava gradnjo večjih eno volumenskih objektov z opeko. Osredotoča se na mehansko odpornost zidanih konstrukcij ter omejitve pri gradnji z opeko. V prvem delu je na kratko opisana zgodovina in razvoj opeke ter njene lasnosti. V osrednjem delu je poudarek na potresno odporni gradnji, tipologiji eno volumenskih objektov in na dimenzijskih omejitvah zidanih konstrukcij. V nadaljevanju so opisane mehanske lastnosti zidanih konstrukcij in predstavljeni predpisi s področja gradnje zidanih konstrukcij – Evrokod 6 in 8. V zadnjem delu so prikazani danes najbolj pogosto uporabljeni načini gradnje eno volumenskih objektov.

Title:
Mechanical resistance of brick walls and limitations in planning major one volume facilities
Abstract:
Thesis deals with the construction of a larger one volume brick masonry building. It focuses on the mechanical resistance of brick masonry structures and it´s limitations. First section briefly describes the history and development of brick and its specifications. Central part of thesis focuses on earthquake-resistant construction, typology of one volume buildings and dimensional limitations of masonry structures. Hereinafter the mechanical properties of masonry structures and the regulations on the construction of mansonry structures Eurocode 6 and 8 are described. In conclusion, most commonly used methods of construction of one volume buildings are presented.
