Abstract:

Title:
Analysis of screw on the rectifier
Abstract:
In the diploma the connector screw M8 on the alternator is being analysed. Using numeric simulation in the ANSYS 17.1 software package and analytic calculation, the stress state on the connector screw and heat sink was determined. Numeric simulation is done using FEM (Finite element method), which offers insight to the strain and deformation state. An analysis of the results and a conclusion about their validity is given at the end.
