Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava velikoserijsko proizvodnjo nožev podjetja Ravne Systems.

Title:Optimization of the milling procedure for recycling knives
Abstract:The master's thesis deals with the large-scale production of Ravne Systems cutting knifes. They are of high quality and all are made in the company from semifinished product to final product. Each product is identified so that there is no problem with tracking. In the research work, I continued with the general description of milling. In addition to general knowledge, I have covered some of the errors that can occur when milling and how to remove them. I also introduced a tool that is crucial for the machining of workpieces that have special shapes. In the production of big series of recyclable cutting knifes, I decided to optimize the old process that was made on the old machine: MCFV 1260 by making it on the new machine: Mazak 6800 II. My work includes: making clamping and optimizing tools. Through the tool I showed the savings of both time and money. I made a comparison of the: cutting forces, cutting speeds and the quality of the treated surfaces on the old and new machine. In the final part of the master's thesis, a comparison is made of the heat load in the production of recyclable knifes, which are manufactured on two different machines.
