Title:Air polution with PM10 and PM2.5 particles in closed and semi-closed parking spaces
Abstract:Air pollution and consequently health and environmental complications connected to it, are definitely one of the most serious problems of our 21. century. Despite introduction of many measurements, with which we successfully lowered the concentrations of sulphur dioxide to safe levels, we still face new pollutants, especialy ozone and aswell PM10 and PM2.5 particles. Especially this latter particles, are much more hazardous to human health, since they are created by natural causes (such as forest fires), aswell as by human interactions (cars, industry, etc.), and as such we are more exposed to them in some cases, then we are to ozone. This thesis analyses connections between the concentration of PM10 and PM2.5 particles, which are produced during driving and parking cars in different parking spaces, which can be either entirely closed or partially closed, and how the construction itself affects the levels of the particles concentrations.
