Primerjali smo pridobivanje energije z vetrnicami z drugimi načini pridobivanja energije.

Title:PLACEMENT OF WIND TURBINES IN SLOVENIA: LEGAL BASIS AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REGULATIONS
Abstract:Wind is a renewable energy source, which is under-exploited in Slovenia. Slovenia has many suitable areas for the construction of windmills, but these areas are poorly exploited compared to Europe. Windmills have minimal environmental impact and they do not cause any CO2 emissions. In my project we will explore the region Prekmurje as a possible suitable area for the construction of windmills. In the first part of my project we will examined the previous projects for the construction of winfmills in Slovenia. In the second part we will talk generally about windmills in the World and Slovenia, presented their ecological and economical inpact on the environment and find suitable areas for the construction of windmills in Slovenia, based on data from the Environmental Agency Republic of Slovenia. We compared the generation of energy with wind turbines with other ways of obtaining energy. In the third part of our project we focused on the construction of winfmills in the region Prekmurje. We compared windmills in Prekmurje with a power plant on the Mura River and presented the conceptual design for the installation of windmills in Prekmurje. The aim of the task is to find suitable areas for the construction of windmills in Prekmurje. We ended this project with the conclusion that Prekmurje is not suitable for the construction of large windmills, but only for the construction of small windmills where the minimum wind speed is 1.5 m/s.
