Abstract:V magistrskem delu je opisana in predstavljena tehnologija izdelave betona.

Title:Renovation of control and optimization of the concrete mixing plant
Abstract:In this master's degree, the technology of making concrete is described. Independent operation of two horizontal concrete mixing plants is ensured. The plants are controlled by the Siemens industrial PLC controller with the associated modules. Automated and simultaneous operation is enabled for two concrete mixing plants of different capacities, which mix concrete for the production of concrete elements within the company and for the transport concrete outside the company. In order for the required task to be practically carried out, the previous controller had to be replaced with a new one. The new controller is the Siemens industrial PLC-controller S7 315 – 2 PN/DP, which is, through the PROFIBUS connection, connected to the expansion module ET 200S. Because of the modernization of the plant, the analogue devices for displaying the weight of a weighing system were replaced by digital ones and connected to the PLC-controller through the RS 485 connection and MODBUS-protocol. Two moisture meters were added for the improvement of quality of concrete production, the electrical cabinet was arranged and the old, irregular switching technique was replaced by a new one. A control panel for manual control was added as well. A new visualization was introduced for monitoring the overall production process within the company.
