Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo se posvetili lokalnim medijev na Kočevskem ter njihovem razvoju in vlogi v lokalni skupnosti. Na Kočevskem trenutno delujejo trije večji lokalni mediji – Radio Univox, časopis Kočevska ter spletna televizija TV Kočevje. V prvem delu diplomske naloge smo podali teoretična spoznanja o samih množičnih medijih, lokalnih mediji ter o Kočevski. V drugem delu pa smo na podlagi analize ankete ter programske sheme radia Univox analizirali vlogo lokalnih medijev, njihovo stopnjo informiranosti ter izpolnjevanje temeljnih nalog medijev.

Title:
Development and role of local media in Kočevje
Abstract:
In this thesis we focused on local media in the Kočevje region, mainly their development and role in the local community. In the Kočevje region there are currently three major local media outlets – Radio Univox, newspaper Kočevska and online tv station called TV Kočevje. In the first part of the thesis we will present theoretical findings about mass media itself, as well as local media and about the region of Kočevje. In the second part we will analyze the survey and the program scheme of Radio Univox, to determine their role, their level of information that they distribute to the people of the region of Kočevje and the fulfillment of the basic tasks of mass media.
