Abstract:Ogljikov dioksid je pomemben tehnični plin, naravnega izvora je še posebej primeren za živilskopredelovalno industrijo. Magistrsko delo vključuje teoretične osnove postopka razplinjanja vode, sušenja plina, separacije plinske zmesi in različne postopke utekočinjanja plinov. Izvedli smo računalniško simulacijo topnosti ogljikovega dioksida v vodi in utekočinjanja plina s programom Aspen Plus. Geotermična voda vrtine Be-2-04 vsebuje večje količine raztopljenega ogljikovega dioksida brez prisotnosti H2S in ogljikovodikov. Rezultati računalniške simulacije razpoložljivega naravnega vira ogljikovega dioksida, prisotnega v geotermični vodi vrtine Be-2-04 kažejo, da ima proces proizvodnje in utekočinjanja ogljikovega dioksida velik tržni potencial.

Title:Production of liquid carbon dioxide
Abstract:Carbon dioxide is an important technical gas that occurs naturally and is particularly suitable for the food processing industry. The theoretical basis of the master's thesis presents the water degasification process, gas drying, separation of gas mixtures and various gas liquefaction processes. We conducted a computerised simulation of the solubility of carbon dioxide in water and gas liquefaction using the Aspen Plus program. We performed these computer simulations in such a way that we changed certain parameters in order to determine the optimal operating conditions. The master's thesis presents a comparison between the liquefaction process with and without the use of an external cooling system. We discovered that the process of liquefaction using the external cooling system has, economically speaking, more advantages. The Be-2-04 geothermal water source contains a larger amount of dissolved carbon dioxide without the presence of H2S and hydrocarbons. Results from the computer simulation of natural source carbon dioxide present in the Be-2-04 geothermal water source show that the process of production and liquefaction of carbon dioxide has a high market potential.
