Abstract:	V diplomskem delu je prikazan problem izgube časa in odvečnega gibanja zaradi vzroka, ki ga predstavlja neorganizirano delovno mesto na oddelku pakiranja prireznih delov v podjetju Boxmark Leather d.o.o., eno od vodilnih svetovnih proizvajalcev usnja in prodajo usnjenih sedežnih prevlek. Izvedli smo metodo trenutnih opažanj – MTO, kjer smo opazovali delavko na njenem delovnem mestu, kako opravlja vse aktivnosti in si ugotovitve beležili na list papirja. Odkrili smo, da nekatere aktivnosti, katere so zapisane v diplomskem delu, delavka opravlja dlje, kar povzroča izgubo časa in odvečnega gibanja. S pomočjo metode MTO, smo lahko izdelali zaključek in podali predlog za izboljšanje posnetega stanja. Za prikaz rešitve obravnavanega problema smo se odločili, da podamo predlog uporabe metode 5S na delovnem mestu, s pomočjo katere se bo stanje izboljšalo. Podrobno smo predstavili vsak korak metode 5S (sortiranje, spravi v red, počisti, standardiziraj in skrbi), katere smo uvedli na delovnem mestu in predstavili rezultate izboljšav po uvedbi vsakega koraka.

Title:	Proposal for the use of the 5S method in Boxmark
Abstract:	In the diploma thesis is shown the problem of time loss and excessive movement due to the cause, which is disorganized workplace in the packaging section of the cutting parts in the company Boxmark Leather d.o.o., one of the world's leading manufacturers of leather and selling leather seat covers. We have performed the method of current observations - MTO, where we observed a worker at her workplace, doing all the activities and mark them on a sheet of paper. We discovered, that some activities which are written in the diploma thesis, are carried out by the worker longer, which leads to loss of time and excessive movement. By using this method, we could draw a conclusion and put forward a proposal for improving the situation. In order to demonstrate the solution to this problem, we decided to put forward a proposal to use the 5S method in the workplace, through which the situation will improve. We presented in detail each step of the 5S method (sorting, bringing in order, cleaning, standardizing and sustaining), that we introduced at the workplace and presented the results of improvements after the introduction of each step.
