Abstract:	Svetovalno delo kot posebna oblika organizacijske pomoči učencem na šoli ima na naših tleh približno petdesetletno tradicijo. Šolski svetovalni delavci s svojim delom pomagajo in sodelujejo pri uresničevanju temeljnih, splošnih ter posebnih vzgojno-izobraževalnih ciljih. Najpomembnejši uporabnik storitev svetovalne službe je otrok, učenec, dijak. Svetovalni delavci se pri svojem delu srečujejo z različnimi problematikami. V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali, zaradi katerih težav učenci in dijaki obiščejo svetovalno službo. Zanimalo nas je tudi, katere težave so najpogostejše pri svetovalem delu z dečki in deklicami. V teoretičnem delu smo se podrobneje seznanili z nalogami in dejavnostmi šolske svetovalne službe, aktualnimi problemi svetovalne službe ter posebnostmi svetovanja na različnih ravneh izobraževanja. V empiričnem delu magistrske naloge smo prikazali rezultate raziskave, v kateri je sodelovalo 134 šolskih svetovalnih delavcev. Rezultati kažejo, da dečki v osnovni šoli najpogosteje obiščejo svetovalno službo zaradi disciplinskih težav ter težav, povezanih z učnim delom. Pri dijakih, ki obiskujejo nižje in srednje poklicne šole ter strokovne šole, so najpogostejše težave nesoglasja s sošolci, težave v družini ter disciplinske težave. Pri dijakih, ki obiskujejo gimnazije, so zelo pogoste težave z uporabo psihoaktivnih snovi. Tudi pri deklicah, ki hodijo v osnovno šolo, so najpogostejše disciplinske težave, nesoglasja s sošolci, težave z uporabo psihoaktivnih snovi ter težave povezane z učnim delom. Pri dijakinjah, ki hodijo v nižje in srednje poklicne šole ter strokovne šole, pa so najpogostejše disciplinske težave, težave v družini, šolsko in poklicno svetovanje ter težave povezane z učnim delom.

Title:	Problems school guidance counselors come across in different levels of education
Abstract:	Advisory service as a special form of organizational help for students has an approximately fifty-year-old tradition in Slovenia. The advisors at schools help with the realization of fundamental, general, and especially educational goals. The most important clients of the advisory service are children, pupils, and students. The advisors face various problems during the course of their work. In this master’s thesis, we researched which problems compel the students to consult the advisory service. We were also interested in the most common problems for male and female students. In the theoretical part, we took a closer look at the responsibilities and activities of the school advisory service, the current problems of the advisory service and the special traits of advisory work on different levels of education. In the empirical part, we presented the results of the survey, which included 134 advisors. The results show that the boys in elementary schools most commonly consult the advisory service due to the disciplinary problems and problems with studying. For the male middle school and vocational school students, the most common problems are connected to the disagreements with their classmates, family trouble and disciplinary problems. Male high school students most commonly experience problems, connected to the use of psychoactive substances. The most frequently appearing problems of the girls at elementary schools are disciplinary problems, disagreements with their classmates, problems with the use of psychoactive substances and problems with studying. And for the female students studying at middle and vocational schools, the most common problems are disciplinary problems, family problems, problems with studying and the vocational advisory service.
