Abstract:	V diplomskem delu z naslovom Knjižica oblik pri spoznavanju geometrije v predšolskem obdobju smo predstavili nov didaktični pripomoček knjižico oblik, ki pripomore k boljšemu učenju in spoznavanju geometrijskih oblik. Otrokom smo naprej na zanimiv in čim bolj razumljiv način predstavili izbrane like (kvadrat, krog, šestkotnik, pravokotnik in trikotnik) ter telesa (kvader, valj, krogla, stožec, piramida in kocka). Po predstavitvi oblik smo otrokom ponudili zanimive didaktične igre, s pomočjo katerih smo želeli otrokom približati geometrijo. Sledile so aktivnosti s pomočjo knjižice oblik. Najprej smo otrokom ponudili prazno knjižico likov, v katero so iz raznih prospektov izrezovali oblike, jih razvrščali in ustrezno zalepili. Na podoben način smo čez nekaj dni izvedli še aktivnost s pomočjo knjižice teles. Z raziskavo, v kateri je sodelovalo 56 otrok starih od 4 do 6 let, smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšne primere predmetov so otroci našli pri posameznem liku oz. telesu, kateri primeri so ustrezni oz. neustrezni in katere geometrijske oblike so jim bolj blizu.

Title:	A booklet of shapes for learning geometry in the preschool period
Abstract:	In this diploma thesis, entitled A Booklet of Shapes for Learning Geometry in Preschool Education, we presented new didactic tool a booklet of shapes, which helps with learning and getting to know geometric shapes. First of all, we presented chosen shapes (square, circle, hexagon, rectangle and triangle) and figures (rectangular prism, cylinder, sphere, cone, pyramid and cube) to the children in interesting and understandable manner. After the presentation of shapes and figures, we offered interesting didactic games to the children, which helped us introducing geometry to them. Next, followed activities based on a booklet of shapes. Firstly, we gave the children an empty booklet of shapes, which they completed with shapes cut out of advertising leaflets, they sorted them and glued them on empty pages. After few days we performed the activity based on a booklet of figures in a similar way. With our research, including 56 children from 4 to 6 years old, we wanted to find out what kind of examples of objects children found for individual shape or figure, which examples were correct and which incorrect and with which geometrical shapes they are more familiar.
