Title:Development of a belt feeder for small particless
Abstract:This diploma work describes a development and testing of a small particles belt feeder. There is an overview of technologies for transporting small particles, that are available on the market. With the analyses of possible solutions, we chose the optimal one. With the help of the sketches, we made CAD models of a belt feeder and then drawings of it. We determined the procedures, how to make individual components and then we made them. Finally we constructed the machine. The constructed prototype was then tested. The main goal of the tests was to determine at which parameters we achieve a thin layer of particles. Results have shown, that with this solution we can efficiently dose a thin layer of small particles on to a conveyor belt in a production line.
