Abstract:V prvem delu magistrske naloge so predstavljene značilnosti fantastične pripovedi ter delitev zgodovinskega proznega žanra v mladinski književnosti. Zanimalo nas je, kako se v izbranih delih kažejo realni zgodovinski dogodki ter njihov vpliv na zgodbo. Izbrali smo dvajset del slovenskih avtorjev, in sicer: France Bevk: Peter Klepec (1956), Maja Brodschneider Kotnik: Čevljarček (2009), Dušan Čater: Veronika Deseniška (1995), Fran Levstik: Martin Krpan (2010), Helena Štefančič: Grad nesrečne ljubezni (2006), ljudska: Kralj Matjaž in sol (2003), Stanka Devjak: Agata, žlahtni cvet s Štraleka (2014), Maja Furman: Deček in Zajcklošter (2015), Žiga X Gombač: Živa in Prabled (2012), Živa, vitez in zmaj (2013), Živa in antični rojstni dan (2014), Dan, ko je izginil Ljubljanski grad (2014), Živa in stiška kneginja (2016), Niko Kupper: Kralj Samo (2008), Primož Trubar (2008), Modest Gosposvetski (2009), Skriti zaklad: Brižinski spomeniki (2009), Zgodba o čarobni prisegi: knežji kamen (2012), Miklova Zala in uporni kmetje (2016) in Andreja Vukmir: Kamniška Veronika (2009). V osrednjem delu naloge so izbrana dela natančno analizirana.

Title:Historical elements in Slovene fantastical children prose
Abstract:The first part of the master’s thesis presents the characteristics of a fantastic tales and the categorization of the historical prose genre in children literature. We were interested in finding out how authentic historical events are illustrated in selected literary works and what their influence on the narrative is. The following twenty literary works by Slovene authors were chosen: Peter Klepec (1956) by France Bevk; Čevljarček (2009) by Maja Brodschneider Kotnik; Veronika Deseniška (1995) by Dušan Čater; Martin Krpan (2010) by Fran Levstik; Grad nesrečne ljubezni (2006) by Helena Štefančič; the folk tale Kralj Matjaž in sol (2003); Agata, žlahtni cvet s Štraleka (2014) by Stanka Devjak; Deček in Zajcklošter (2015) by Maja Furman; Živa in Prabled (2012), Živa, vitez in zmaj (2013), Živa in antični rojstni dan (2014), Dan, ko je izginil ljubljanski grad (2014) and Živa in stiška kneginja (2016) by Žiga X Gombač; Kralj Samo (2008), Primož Trubar (2008), Modest Gosposvetski (2009), Skriti zaklad: Brižinski spomeniki (2009), Zgodba o čarobni prisegi: knežji kamen (2012), Miklova Zala in uporni kmetje (2016) by Niko Kupper; and Kamniška Veronika (2009) by Andreja Vukmir. The central part of the thesis offers a thorough analysis of the selected literary works. In the central part of the thesis, the selected works are precisely analysed. The following criteria have been used with the selection of the works: the work is written by a Slovene author and belongs to the children fantastic prose, and historical elements are incorporated into the work. When selecting the works, we have limited ourselves on literary works that cover the area of Slovenia today or the historical figures who lived in this area or had an influence on it. For each of them, the thesis gives an overview of some general information, the storyline, the main and side literary characters, substance, theme, motifs, and linguistic characteristics. In each narrative, historical elements and a comparison with the realistic historical background are defined separately. Because genuine historical information is referred to in the literary works, interdisciplinary linkage with the subject of history is also featured.
