Abstract:Izhodišče: Zdravstvena vzgoja otročnice je pomembna, naučimo jo samostojnosti pri negi in hranjenju novorojenčka.

The results of the research: We found, that most respondents are not self-sufficient in the care of the newborn when they are dismissed from hospital, because our survey was shown, that 29 (73 %) neonatal mother do not independently nurture their newborn, but mostly with help of a nurse. Discussion and conclusion: Most of neonatal mother are frightened and insecure before the birth, but in those days when they are hospitalized, they gain a lot of knowledge and psychic and physical support from a nurse.
