Abstract:Izhodišča: Poporodne duševne motnje predstavljajo mejno področje med ginekološko in psihiatrično stroko. Rezultati so prikazani v deležih.

Findings point out that nearly 80% of women are aware of postpartum mental diseases, 69% are aware where to find screening questionnaires but are not acquainted with contents very well. They have acquired postpartum mental diseases information mostly online and 27% from professional health service personnel. More than 80% of women would seek help and assistance at their personal doctor’s office in case of postpartum mental disturbance would appear. Conclusion: Postpartum mental diseases after childbirth are still subject of stigmatizing by the public and are not given the necessary attention.
