Sestavili in izvajali smo vadbene ure, s katerimi smo želeli izboljšati gibalne sposobnosti otrok (moč, gibljivost in vzdržljivost).

Title:An example of exercises for optimising young children's health
Abstract:In the thesis we focused mainly on the appropriate assembling of training hours with which we improve the child's motor skills. We focused on three motor skills: strength, flexibility and durability. Theoretical part includes the definition of the healthy lifestyle concept and how the child's motion positively influences his health and well-being; we also talked about the development of the pre-school child's motorics and about the motor skills that are crucial for the implementation of our training. We have described what is a suitable children's exercise area, and we have studied some of the previous proven studies that there is a difference between girls and boys in individual physical abilities, changing over the years, and that regular movement improves children's motor skills. The empirical part presents the results of research in which we wanted to determine whether our exercise program had a positive impact on the development of endurance, body strength and mobility of a child, and whether there were any differences between boys and girls. The study included 15 children from the Boris Peče Maribor kindergarten, aged 3-6 years. We assembled and implemented training with which we wanted to improve the child's motor skills (strength, flexibility and durability). Before and after the training they were tested to see, how they were able to move before and after the training. We found that our health training program had a positive impact on the development of durability, physical strength and mobility. Similarly, during the testing, there were differences between children, girls were more successful than boys, especially in their flexibility, durability and strength. While boys were improved better in endurance strength (jump left, right) than girls.
Keywords:Children and health, motion, physical abilities, development of physical abilities, exercise area, exercise session.
