Abstract:V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge želimo predstaviti tri področja Kurikuluma v vrtcu. Matematiko, glasbo in ples. Z njimi smo predstavili nekaj idej in možnosti, kako to povezati z matematiko in posledično preko igre vplivati na otrokov razvoj matematičnih sposobnosti in spretnosti. V praktičnem delu diplomske naloge smo predstavili nekaj bansov z matematično vsebino, ki smo jih vsakodnevno en mesec izvajali v vrtcu skupaj z otroki.

Title:Movement songs in preschool mathematics
Abstract:The theoretical part of the thesis covers three preschool curriculum areas, i.e. Mathematics, Music, and Dance. We highlighted the characteristics of each area, as well as explained how to use and logically combine them in preschool education. We focused on movement and dance activities, or movement songs, which are rather common in preschool. We listed some ideas how to tie movement songs into Mathematics and thus influence a child's development of mathematical skills and abilities through play. In the practical part of the thesis, we presented the mathematical movement songs which were being carried out daily in a kindergarten for one month. We first tested the children's previous mathematical knowledge and then carried out the mathematical movement songs every day. We prepared special choreographies for these movement songs and described them in detail. In the end, we checked whether the movement songs influenced the mathematical skills and abilities of children aged one to six. The results showed that all children were more successful in the final testing than before the movement songs had been carried out.
