Abstract:Zakon o potrošniških kreditih je veliko pripomogel k temu, da kreditojemalci bolj varno najamemo kredite. Z vsako novejšo različico zakona smo bolj varni in bolj ozaveščeni o različnih možnostih na trgu. Pred tem je potrošniške kredite le delno urejal Obligacijski zakonik, ki pa je puščal kreditodajalcem in kreditojemalcem preveliko manevrskega prostora in zato je prišlo do prevelikih okoriščanj iz obeh strani. Z letom 2000 smo v Republiki Sloveniji dobili prvi Zakon o potrošniških kreditih in ga z leti posodabljali . Tako smo leta 2010 dobili prvo novejšo različico leta 2017 pa že drugo različico zakona. Ključni cilj tega zakona je, da bi v naprej preprečili potrošniško izpostavljenost med tem, ko plačujemo kredit. Zagotovil pa bi tudi bolj visoko raven varovanja interesov potrošnikov. Zakone ne spreminjajo na določen čas ampak takrat, ko se po njih pojavi potreba. Namen diplomske naloge je, da v začetku predstavimo, kaj je kredit in kakšne vrste jih poznamo ter predstavit kreditiranje fizičnih oseb. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili tudi varstvo potrošnikov, zato smo tudi na hitro opisali kaj sploh je kredit in kakšne vrste jih poznamo, da bomo v samem nadaljevanju tudi videli o čem sploh odločajo ti zakoni ki jih opisujemo. Veliko so k varstvo potrošnikov pripomogli tudi Zveza potrošnikov Slovenije, ki je vedno na strani potrošnikov in skrbi za njegovo blaginjo v tem okolju že od leta 1990 ko je ta organizacija nastala.

Title:Consumer credit act in slovenia
Abstract:Consumer credit act has helped a lot with lowering the abuse of consumers’ credits. Before that the consumer credits were handled only partly by Obligation code, which allowed credit borrowers and lenders too much of leeway and that is the reason why there was too much of misuse from both sides. With year 2000 we got in Slovenian Republic first Consumer credit act and with years we were continuously updating it. In year 2010 we got first modern version and in 2017 a second version of the act. The main goal of this act is, that we would beforehand prevented consumers’ exposure while paying a loan. It would also assure higher level of consumer protection. Acts are not changed on regular basis or yearly, but when there is a need for change. The purpose of this thesis is at the beginning to present what credit is, what kind of credit we know and crediting of individual persons. In the thesis it is presented protection of consumers and that is why it is also described what actually credit is and what kind of credits we know, so that we could see what these acts are determining. Slovene consumers' organization has contributed a lot to protection of consumers, which is always on the side of consumers and it takes care for their good being in this environment from the year 1990 when this organization was established.
