Abstract:In meiner Magisterarbeit werde ich deutsche und amerikanische elektronische Medien miteinander vergleichen, und zwar aus dem Standpunkt der Sprache. Der Kerngedanke hinter dieser Idee ist es den Leser zu erklären, wie deutsche und amerikanische elektronische Medien durch ihre Leser ihr Einkommen verdienen und wieso sie gezwungen sind, sich den Clickbaiting- bzw. Klickködern zu betätigen.

Title:Clickbaiting: how german and american media outlets manipulate with the reader through language
Abstract:In my master's thesis I will compare German and American electronic media, from the point of view of the language. The core idea behind this thesis is to explain to the reader how German and American electronic media earn their income from their readers and why they are forced or are better off using Clickbaiting.
