Abstract:	Alpe so prostor, ki že stoletja privabljajo mnogo turistov in domačinov. Predvsem jih navduši neokrnjena narava, mogočne visoke gore, biotska raznovrstnost, ledeno hladne reke in jezera in zelene doline. Ta del predstavlja narava. Seveda tak prostor ni ostal nedotaknjen, ljudje so si na tem mestu gradili vasi na način, ki je trdno povezan z naravo, ki jih obdaja. S spoštovanjem do tistega, kar naj bi jim bilo podarjeno, so si zgradili bivališča previdno in preudarno. Vsaka nepravilna poteza v prostoru bi lahko škodila naravi ter posledično domačinom samim. Bohinj je eden izmed predstavnikov tovrstnih pokrajin. Kljub vplivu industrializacije in kulture hitro rastočih mest zaenkrat še ohranja svojo identiteto gručastih naselij in vijugaste ceste, ki vodi skozi pokrajini. Vendar pa prostor ne prenese velikih posegov in pretiravanja. Kar hitro bi se lahko zgodilo, da bi ljudje želeli narediti preveč in s tem popolnoma uničili podobo in razčlenjenost vasi v Bohinju. Magistrsko delo predstavlja le delček v mozaiku potrebnih strategij, ki bi pripomogle k razumevanju prostora in ohranjanju lepote narave. Zasnovan hotel in žičniški postaji se subtilno umeščata v prostor, tako da uporabniku, domačinu ali zunanjemu opazovalcu ne zastira pogleda na okoliške gore in jezero, nasprotno, silhueta in preboji v strukturi uokvirjajo podobo kraja. Izbrano delo predstavlja izziv, saj gre za infrastrukturno dejavnost, ki je skozi zgodovino najbolj škodljivo vplivala na prostor. Rešitev poskuša zmanjšati vpliv na vsaj določeno stopnjo okoljske tolerance.

Title:	Design of a ski hotel vogel with cable car
Abstract:	Alpine space attracts many locals and turists for centuries. Especially impressed by the unspoiled pristine nature, the mighty mountains, the biodiversity, ice cold rivers, lakes and of the green valley. This part represents nature. Such a space was not left untouched, people were building villages in a way that is firmly connected to the nature surrounding it. Respectful of what they have been given to them, they built dwellings with care and prudence. Any irregular move in this space, could harm the nature and consequently the locals themselves. Bohinj is one of the representatives of such landscapes. Despite the impact of industrialization and the culture of rapidly growing cities, it still preserves its identity of clustered settlements and a winding road leading through the province. However, the space does not tolerate major interventions and exaggerations. As quickly as possible, people would want to do too much and thus completely destroy the image and fragmentation of the village in Bohinj. The master’s work represents only a part of the necessary mosaic of strategies that would help to understand the space and to preserve the beauty of nature. The designed hotel and cableway station are subtly located in the space, so that the user, the host or the external observer does not obscure the view of the surrounding mountains and the lake, on the contrary, the silhouette and breaks in the structure frame the image of the place. The chosen task is a challenge, as it is an infrastructure activity that has the most damaging influence on the environment throughout history. The solution attempts to reduce this effect to at least some degree of enviromental tolerance.
