Abstract:Izhodišča in namen: Shizofrenija je ena izmed bolj stigmatiziranih bolezni. V diplomskem delu smo ugotavljali v kolikšni meri je socialna distanca pacientov s shizofrenijo posledica prepričanj in stereotipov o sami bolezni.

Title:Community acceptance of the patients with schizophrenia
Abstract:Introduction: Schizophrenia is one of the most stigmatized mental disorders. In thesis, we determined the extent to which the social distance of patients with schizophrenia was due to beliefs and stereotypes about disease itself. We also defined how the demographics of respondents influence the acceptance of patients with schizophrenia. Research methodology: The research was based on a descriptive quantitative method. The survey was carried by using 1ka online tools and the surveys were collected in first week of November 2018. The survey contained 12 questions.
