Abstract:	Teoretična izhodišča: Droge ter odvisnost od njih so velik problem predvsem med mladimi. Število uživalcev drog po svetu in pri nas narašča, s tem pa naraščajo tudi težave v povezavi z njimi. V zaključnem delu smo se osredotočili predvsem na mlade iz območja severovzhodne Slovenije. Z raziskavo smo želeli izvedeti, kakšno je poznavanje posledic zlorabe drog med dijaki in študenti na tem območju. Raziskovalna metodologija: Za izdelavo zaključnega dela smo uporabili deskriptivno in kvantitativno metodo dela. V raziskavi smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik, ki je zajemal 12 vprašanj. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal l05 anketirancev od tega 42 dijakov in 63 študentov. Pridobljene rezultate smo nato obdelali s pomočjo programa Microsoft Excel in prikazali z grafi. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da so s posledicami zlorabe drog bolje seznanjeni študentje in da je splošno poznavanje posledic zlorabe drog, na območju severovzhodne Slovenije, slabo. Ugotovili smo tudi, da so dijaki ter študentje mnenja, da medicinska sestra ne informira mladostnikov dovolj o posledicah povezanih z drogami. Sklep: Še vedno veliko mladih zaradi različnih razlogov išče sprostitev v drogah. Znanja o posledicah nimajo dovolj, zato bi k zmanjšanju zlorabe drog pripomogla dodatna informiranost staršev ter otrok in dobri preventivni programi s strani zdravstvenega osebja.

Title:	Knowledge of the consequences of drug abuse among secondary and college students in the north-eastern slovenia
Abstract:	Theoretical background: Drugs and dependence on them, still remains a major problem, especially among young people. The number of drug users around the world and in our country is rising, and there are also growing problems in relation to them. In this diploma work, we focused on young people from the area of north-eastern Slovenia. We wanted to find out how much knowledge have students and college students of the consequences of drug abuse and which of these two groups is with the consequences more familiar. Methods: For this diploma work, we used descriptively and quantitative method. We did a survey questionnaire that covered 12 questions. The research sample covered 105 respondents, 42 students and 63 college students. The obtained results were than processed with Microsoft Excel and displayed with graphs. Results: We found out that, college students are more familiar with the consequences of drug abuse as students and that the general knowledge of the consequences of drug abuse in the north-eastern Slovenia isn't good. We also found out that students and college students believe that the nurse does not inform enough adolescents about the consequences of drugs. Discussion: For many different reasons, many young people are still seeking relaxation in drugs. They still don't have enough knowledge of the consequences, therefore especially the parents, will be helped by the reductions of drug abuse, as well as good preventive programs by healthcare professionals.
