Abstract:Z diplomskim delom Kako približati lutke otrokom v vrtcu smo otrokom v vrtcu na drugačen in ustvarjalen način predstavili lutkovno-gledališko predstavo po pravljici Zrcalce, avtorja Gregorja Viteza, ob tem pa smo otrokom pripravili razne dejavnosti v prvem in drugem starostnem obdobju. Lutke otrokom omogočajo razvoj na vseh področjih razvoja (kognitivnega, emocionalnega, socialnega in gibalnega). Z lutkovno dejavnostjo otrokom spodbujamo domišljijo in jih usmerjamo k ustvarjalnosti.

Title:How to attract kindergarten children's attention to puppets
Abstract:The diploma thesis How to attract kindergarten children’s attention to puppets enabled us to present a puppets theatre play to kindergarten children in a different and more creative manner by preparing various activities in the first and second age group. The play is titled Mirror and was written by Gregor Vitez. This diploma thesis has theoretical part, in which we researched the roll of puppets in pre-school period. In addition, we were interested in child’s development while playing with a puppet. As future kindergarten teachers we educated ourselves on different work methods with puppets as well as on the puppet use and the role of the teacher in this process. Throughout the entire diploma thesis, we educated ourselves on positive puppet characteristics in the pedagogical work. We researched the best manner to use puppets in kindergarten, since a child sees us multiple persons and begins to trust us in that period. Puppets enable development in various fields (cognitive, emotional, social and movement). Also, puppet activity encourages imagination and creativity by children. We are aware of the importance of play in child’s life; by observing a child at play the teacher or the parent can notice emotional problems or inner difficulties about which the child speaks with the puppet. A hand puppet represents a new person, a new friend who is always there, to the child. In such a manner it is easier to accept new rules, standpoints, norms, friends etc. In the empirical part we were observing the production of puppets and the scene for the puppet theatre play, which was performed to kindergarten children. Furthermore, the activities in the first and second age group are described.
