Abstract:Razvoj marketinga in digitalne tehnologije je omogočil razvoj spletnih socialnih omrežij.

Title:Exploitation of business opportunities of slovenes on youtube
Abstract:The development of marketing and digital technology has enabled the development of social networking sites. Having the knowledge of marketing strategies and tools enables us to market our products and services on social networks. The social network called YouTube is one of the most popular sites for sharing different types of video content. This thesis attempts to show that Slovenes are also active content creators and outline the extent to which we are taking advantage of the business opportunities provided by this social network. Firstly, the ways in which individuals, businesses, or organizations generate income through YouTube have been explored in order to identify some of the factors that affect their success. The marketing strategies used by each channel have been found to vary by content, genre, and target audience. Content creators tend to continually communicate with their audience. The audience's response reflects the content of the channel and contributes to the channel's success. Understanding the dynamics and knowing how to optimize a channel and gain a competitive advantage can help to generate revenue and create business opportunities for creators.
