Abstract:	V diplomskem projektu z naslovom Družinsko podjetje in izzivi načrtovanja nasledstva bomo najprej opredelili pojem družinsko podjetje, njegove prednosti in slabosti. Spoznali bomo, kaj družinska podjetja dela tako posebna in kakšno vlogo imajo managerji v podjetjih. Ker je nasledstvo velik problem v družinskih podjetjih in so takrat podjetja občutljiva pri prehodu generacij, se bomo najbolj osredotočili na nasledstvo, saj je nasledstvo najpomembnejše in tipično problematično vprašanje, s čimer se ukvarja večina družinskih podjetij in lahko na poti prenosa povzroči številne ovire. Glavne ovire bomo tudi spoznali. Dedovanje je osrednjega pomena za preživetje podjetja. Izvedeli bomo, če so podjetniki dejansko pripravljeni na prenos svojih podjetij v naslednjo generacijo. Pomembno pa je vedeti, da če potomcev ni, obstaja možnost predati podjetje tretji osebi, zato bomo govorili tudi o tem. Govora bo tudi o konfliktih, saj so ti prisotni tudi v teh podjetjih, vendar v manjši meri in so del življenja vsakega od nas. Za praktični primer diplomskega projekta smo si izbrali družinsko podjetje Oljarna KOCBEK s.p., njihova zgodba sega v prvo polovico 20. stoletja in so predvsem znani po izdelavi najkvalitetnejših in nerafiniranih olj. Pri spoznavanju tega podjetja pa smo se najbolj osredotočili na njihovo dojemanje podjetništva in nasledstva. Ustavili smo se pri njihovih medsebojnih odnosih, saj nas je zanimalo, kakšen odnos imajo znotraj in zunaj podjetja.

Title:	Family business and succession planning challenges
Abstract:	This diploma dissertation research project titled Family Business and Challenges Regarding Succession tries to define the term family business, its advantages and disadvantages. Following this is an explanation of what makes family business special and the roles of managers in family businesses. The succession of the business is a major problem in family businesses which are, at that time, at risk. Therefore, the main topic of the diploma dissertation will be the succession of the company – the most important and problematic question when it comes to family businesses which can cause, during the transfer, many complications which will also be explained. Succession is thus of utmost importance for the survival of a family business. Furthermore, the investigation if the businesses are prepared for the transfer of the leadership in the next generation will be an important part of the diploma dissertation. It is also essential to know that in case of no descendants the option of transferring the business to a third person is viable for this reason we will also speak about it. As the conflicts in a family business are very influential on the business, the last part will be dedicated to them. For the practical part of the diploma dissertation research project we chose the family business Oljarna KOCBEK s. p., which history reaches back to the first half of the 20. century, and are known for producing top-quality unrefined oils. The focus was on their understanding of business and the succession of the business. We also take a closer look in the relationship inside and outside of the business.
