Abstract:Izhodišča: Spremembe na laseh in lasišču se pri nekaterih otrocih pojavijo že v prvih tednih njihovega življenja, in sicer kot temenice. Vse zbrane podatke smo nato računalniško obdelali in predstavili z grafikoni s pomočjo računalniških programov Microsoft Excel in Microsoft Word.

Title:Changes on hair and scalp at children
Abstract:Starting points: Changes in the hair and scalp occur at some children in the first weeks of their life as the cradle cap. Later in the pre-school and elementary school, these changes are more, mainly due to their contagiousness. We tried to find out whether parents recognize changes in hair and scalp at children and whether they know how to act in this case. Research methods: In the theoretical part we used the descriptive method of work. The empirical part of the diploma work is carried out according to the quantitative method of research. Data were collected using an anonymous questionnaire, which covered fifteen questions of closed and open type. The research was carried out in a selected kindergarten, where 35 parents of pre-school children participated. Results: The research was related to topics: head lice, cradle cap, tick bites. We found that most parents are well aware of these changes on the hair and scalp and can act upon their appearance. They are less familiar with the symptoms of fungal infection of the scalp, yet they know how to act when they occur. Discussion and conclusion: It is important that parents know the signs of changes in the hair and scalp, so they can help the child and remove them. This can prevent the spread of infections and parasites.
Keywords:head lice, cradle cap, tick, dandruff, fungal disease of the scalp, parents, child.
