Abstract:Magistrska naloga z naslovom Sodobna kratkoprozna dela Slovencev v Avstriji prikazuje sodobna kratkoprozna dela slovenskih avtorjev in avtoric v Avstriji. V uvodnem delu naloge sta predstavljeni tipologija sodobne kratke proze in oblike literarne avtobiografskosti kratkoproznih del. Osrednji del naloge predstavlja motivno-tematska in jezikovno-slogovna analiza kratkoproznih del slovenskih avtorjev in avtoric v Avstriji.

Title:Contemporary short prose works of Slovenes in Austria
Abstract:The Master's thesis Contemporary short prose works of Slovenes in Austria, shows the contemporary short prose works of Slovenian authors in Austria. The introduction presents the types of the short prose and the forms of the literary autobiography of the short prose works. Hereafter is presented a cultural-historical outline of Slovenes in Austria and a brief overview of the development and characteristics of contemporary literature of Slovenian authors in Austria. The main part presents a motive-thematic and linguistic-style analysis of the short prose works of Slovenian authors in Austria. We analysed the works, published after 1960, of the following authors: Janko Messner, Florjan Lipuš, Lev Detela, Anita Hudl, Vinko Ošlak, Kristjan Močilnik, and Sabina Buchwald. We determined the type of the short prose, considering the frequency of autobiographical elements and classified the individual literary collections in accordance to the classification of Blanka Bošnjak. We have concluded that there are differences between older and younger authors in motivic-thematic and linguistic-stylistic characteristics of their work.
