Abstract:	Brezposelnost je zelo razširjen družbeni pojem in pojav. V Sloveniji je brezposelnost v obdobju od 2008 do 2017 naraščala, v obdobju zadnjih dveh let pa ponovno upadla. V diplomskem delu smo preučevali brezposelnost in se pri tem opredelili na območje Urada za delo Domžale. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili trg dela in pojem brezposelnost. Podrobno smo opredelili brezposelno osebo, razloge za nastanek brezposelnosti in posledice, ki jih brezposelnost prinaša. Opredelili smo tudi vrste brezposelnosti in predstavili razlike med registrirano brezposelnostjo ter anketno brezposelnostjo. Opisali smo pravice brezposelnih oseb in pomoč, ki jo imenujemo aktivna politika zaposlovanja. Dotaknili smo se tudi različnih kategorij brezposelnih kot so ženske, mladi, starejši in invalidi. V empiričnem delu smo raziskovali problematiko brezposelnosti na območju Urada za delo Domžale. Pri tem smo zajeli različne kategorije kot so spol, starost, izobrazba ter delovna doba brezposelnih oseb. Proučevali smo tudi število prostih delovnih mest po posameznih področjih in osebe, ki so vključene v aktivno politiko zaposlovanja. Eden ključih raziskovalnih poglavij pa je bil razkorak med potrebami delodajalcev in izobrazbo iskalcev zaposlitev. Ugotovili smo, da je na stanje brezposelnosti izredno vplivala gospodarska kriza. Velik pomen na zaposlitev pripisujemo tudi stopnji in smeri izobrazbe, delovnim izkušnjam in starosti.

Title:	The problem of unemployment in a local Labour office Domžale
Abstract:	Unemployment is a widespread social concept. In Slovenia, unemployment increased in the period 2008 to 2017. In the past two years it has decreased. In the diploma work we studied unemployment in certain areas of Domžale Labour office. In the theoretical part we presented the labour market in the concept of unemployment. We defined in detail the unemployed person, the reason fort he presence of unemployment and consequences that unemployment brings. We also defined types of unemployment in the presented difference between registered unemployment. We also enriched our labour policy with s.c. active employment poliy. We also touched on various categories of unemployment women, young people, the elderly and the disabled. We studied the problems of unemployment at the Domžale Labour office. We have included various categories such as gender, age, education and the working age of unemployment people. We also studied the number of job vacancies by individual areas od people who are thus involved in active political employment. One of the key research chapters was the gap between employers' needs in the education jobseekers. We found out that the economic crisis was extremly affected by unemployment. It also attaches great importance to employment to the level od education, working experience and age.
